A puppy has been reserved for you with your deposit;
because I reserve a puppy your deposit is non-refundable.
However, it can be transferred to the next available litter.
~~~~~~~~ AKC Registration ~~~~~~~~
All puppies are sold with a Limited Registration, unless prior arrangements are made. Puppy must carry the prefix Ansar's as the first seven (7) spaces in its AKC Registered Name. If it is found that Ansar's is not in the first seven (7) spaces Ansar Labradors will not guarantee this puppy.
~~~~~~~~ Health ~~~~~~~~
I represent that to the best of our knowledge the puppy that you have purchased is in good health and is mentally alert. You must have a licensed veterinarian examine your dog within 48 hours of your purchase. Any dog found not to be in good health at the time may be returned for a full refund. The dog must be returned within 24 hours of the veterinarian examination.
~~~~~~~ Guarantee ~~~~~~~
We guarantee a puppy free from sickness and disease at the day of purchase. The purchased puppy will be sold with a limited guarantee and may be AKC registered. Also received with the puppy will be your puppy's health information prior to your purchase, the first shots, and the worming schedule. The pup would have been wormed at 3, 5, and 7 weeks of age. Your new pup will have a limited guarantee including Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, Epilepsy, Grand Mal Seizures, and Eyes.
~~~~~~ Future Returns ~~~~~~
If at any time during the life of your dog you are unable or unwilling to keep the dog for any reason, you agree to return the dog to me, or get my approval in writing before you dispose of the dog. If the dog is returned to us you will receive any money received from the new owner less of the cost of upkeep while under my care. If the dog is placed at no charge you will not be responsible for the dogs upkeep during its stay here.
~~~~~~ Genetic Defects ~~~~~~
It is impossible to "guarantee" that your dog will be free of any genetic defects since genetics cannot be totally controlled by the breeder. By using sound breeding stock we are doing our best to lessen the occurrence of the defects which have been judged by hereditary.
~~~~~~ Hip Dysplasia ~~~~~~
To qualify: All dogs must have their hips x-rayed before the age of 26 months,
preferably when they are altered since this eliminates the necessity for anesthetizing
the dog for a second time. Any dog which is x-rayed within this time frame and found
to be dysplastic bilaterally to the degree that the dogs needs surgery to be functional will have a replacement puppy made available from the next upcoming litter, upon receipt of original puppy. Dogs which have been overweight as puppies or whose diets have been supplemented with calcium DO NOT qualify for any compensation, dogs which are not functional and require euthanasia will be replaced, also subject to the above. Medical records must be made available.
~~~~~~ Elbow Dysplasia ~~~~~~
To qualify: All dogs must have their elbows x-rayed before the age of 26 months,
preferably when they are altered since this eliminates the necessity for anesthetizing
the dog for a second time. Any dog which is x-rayed within this time frame and found
to have Bi-Lateral Elbow Dysplasia to the degree that the dogs needs surgery to be functional will have a replacement puppy made available from the next upcoming litter, upon receipt of original puppy. Dogs which have been overweight as puppies or whose diets have been supplemented with calcium DO NOT qualify for any compensation, dogs which are not functional and require euthanasia will be replaced, also subject to the above. Medical records must be made available.
~~~~~~~ Epilepsy ~~~~~~~
Because the cause of epilepsy is not known there will be no replacement of an epileptic dog, unless the dog has grand mal seizures under the age of 5, and are determined not to have been caused by illness or injury and which necessitate euthanasia. I must be notified when the first seizure occurs and medical records must be made available to me upon request at any time.
~~~~~~~~ Eyes ~~~~~~~~
Any congenital or hereditary eye condition which cause blindness before the age of 3 will entitle the owner to a replacement puppy at their convenience subject to availability. This does not include eye conditions which are best resulted of aging. We also guarantee that the puppy is free of disease or if a problem arises upon being checked by a canine optometrist, and found to be caused by genetics. Medical records must be made available.
